The last memorable book I read on opposites was a Nalini Singh short story (alpha/omega paring) and, unfortunately, I felt it totally did not work. I just can't believe that a relationship will last (regardless of how much the author 'tells' me it will) when the only thing going for the couple is sexual attraction/passion because, in the grand scheme of things, that is just a small part of the relationship.
